Suzanne Ashmore proprietor / creative director

An award-winning designer, Suzanne’s professional career spans 10 years, over 10 awards and a host of satisfied clients. Her formal qualifications include a Diploma of Graphic Design. Her career started with a three-year term at The Cairns Post, Australia’s most widely distributed and fastest growing regional newspaper. Suzanne spent 18 months in the advertising department, before moving to the features department and specialising in publication development.

Leaving The Cairns Post in 2000, Suzanne spent two years with the Gateway Media Group, a Cairns-based advertising agency who are also the publishers of Gateway Magazine and Gateway Maps, as an in-house graphic designer.

In 2002, Suzanne started Suzanne Ashmore Graphic Design. Specialising in all elements of graphic design, with a focus on brand development and management, SAGD services a range of clients including Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, Skyrail-ITM and its Hong Kong project, Ngong Ping 360, Cairns Harbour Lights, Sea Temple Resorts, the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation and Evert Opals. As creative director of SAGD, Suzanne is actively involved in logo and brand development, and all level of design works.

Out of work, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. She also enjoys entertaining, gardening, traveling, drawing and painting.

Nikki Ward senior designer

Boasting over 10 years in the industry, Nikki has worked at Adpower in Cairns and South-East Queensland based agencies dtb! Marketing, Graphic Force and Jarvis Fielding & More Pty Ltd, and brings a wealth of design experience to SAGD. She has worked on projects for Festival Cairns, Stockland Shopping Centres, Pacific Toyota, Cairns Taipans, numerous property developments and the RAQ Australian Fashion Design Awards. Nikki’s formal qualifications include a Diploma of Visual Communication.

Off duty, Nikki enjoys entertaining friends and family, is an active contributor to the local arts scene, enjoys live music and dining out.
